The sidebar is the main way to move around MARC.

What this is for
Navigation helps you open the right module, find records, and return to daily work quickly.
Who uses it
All web users.
Steps
- Use the sidebar to choose a module.
- Open a list page to find records.
- Use filters or search if the page provides them.
- Click a record name or number to open details.
- Use page actions like Create, Edit, Upload, or Save when available.
Important notes
Some modules are hidden if your organization has not enabled them or your role does not have access.
Common mistakes
- Expecting hidden modules to appear for all users.
- Using browser back instead of the app navigation after submitting forms.
- Leaving required fields blank before saving.
