Spare parts are the items used for service and maintenance.

What this is for​

Use spare parts to maintain part names, part numbers, unit details, and reorder levels.

Who uses it​

Inventory users, service coordinators, and owners.

Steps​

  1. Open Inventory.
  2. Open Spare Parts.
  3. Click the create action if available.
  4. Enter part name, part number, unit, and reorder level.
  5. Save the spare part.

Important notes​

Use clear part names and part numbers so engineers select the right item.

Common mistakes​

  • Creating duplicate parts.
  • Entering the wrong unit.
  • Leaving reorder level blank when low-stock tracking is needed.
